    Or you could consider selling your flat to them for an extortionate price and moving on to a better situation

      Dam it, i really like where we live, still haven't called up, but my Wife said she has looked into it a while ago and we can't get an "enfranchise", but i will call leaseadvice next week to see what they think!

        so the leaseadvice people have said we cannot get the "enfranchise a freehold ", they just recommed that i negotiate to buy the freehold!!!
