From what you've posted, you are based in East London. There is a legal advice place I've used, mostly for employment matters, but they also deal with housing issues. It's been a while since I've been there but I've just checked their website and they are doing housing advice sessions on Thursdays. The centre is in Tower Hamlets, which could well be your own local authority. :noidea:
