How did you go on with this-Have you sent them a SAR request? ask for a breakdown of all charges over £30 i did and it worked.

When you say the lender has taken the property I presume you mean that it was repossessed. If you are still being chased for money this suggests that the property was in negative equity or sold below market value leaving a shortfall. If the lender has treated you unfairly over the repossession (including a short sale BMV) then you should write a letter making a Formal Complaint detailing your grievances which may be more than default interest charges etc.

Regardless of the lender's response to your complaint you can refer the whole thing to the Financial Ombudsman Service for investigation after eight weeks. The FOS take a hard line with lenders who don't treat customers fairly with repossessions and many have been made to pay compensation to their customers. 1. If you take a loan or mortgage out with Lancashire Mortgage Corporation, You've got problems. They are a horrendous company!
2. Don't expect the FOS to do anything about it, in fact so sure are LMC that the FOS are pretty usless, in most cases, they will even tell you to complain to them
