  • Mortgage Fees

    Hi i have a mortgage with Rooftop i was in arrears and had a suspended possesion order put on back in August 2009 i have now cleared these arrears but have some occurred charges (which Rooftop cannot break down or explain to me what they are).The question is can i have these fees added to my mortgage as we are no finding the extra money a bit hard to deal with

    I would have thought it was more important to establish what they are for before paying any of them. They cannot just add inexplicable charges.

      Yes i totally understand where you are coming from in establishing what the fees are but we cannot seem to get an answer from Rooftop as to what they are for we have already paid £600 in "Fees" which they cannot give us an answer as to what they are for.Just wondering can they go to court if i refuse to pay my extra £100 which was the agreement made in court to pay off the arrears which have now been cleared and there is only fees owed until they can tell me what they are for any advice is gratefully received
