  • New CAB Mortgage & Rent Arrears /Possession / Eviction Guides

    Hi

A couple of months ago a new CAB resource was successfully launched.

The new CAB resource continues to be developed and has recently had a new guide / section on mortgage / rent arrears / possession / eviction added.

Might be worth a look if you have problems with mortgage / rent arrears / threat of repossession etc.

I do a fair bit of court work & representation and have found this guide very useful.

If anyone has any feedback on the above, positive or negative, put it up and I will pass them on the the NE Derbyshire CAB people.

PS - Hope the site mods are OK with this and perhaps would consider making it a sticky.

      Hi

      You are welcome Peter.

PS - With the threatened legal service and other cuts it is not looking too good for the at court duty solicitor scheme that many people rely on.

Not nice having to go to court on your own against a solicitor backed lender / landlord or housing officer etc.

With potentially more people facing the threat of losing their homes they will need all the help and support they can get, with forums definitely in a good position to play their part in my opinion.
