Re: Subject Access Report
Hi brunty248,
In general terms, a Subject Access Request places a statutory obligation on the recipient Data Controller to deliver to you, in a safe & intelligible manner, all the information which they hold, in any form, that can identify you as a living person, or alternatively give reasons why this cannot be done.
What has been sent/not sent which is causing problems?
[I see Tuttsi et al have been answering on your other threads (Webb & Rooftop)].

Re: Subject Access Report
Hi
Apologies upfront but I am trying to get copies of my mortgage documents etc from Birmingham Midshires. Am looking for the correct template letter that I can edit accordingly. I found only one and need clarification that it is the right one - it needs a £10 postal order or cheque to accompany it etc. I found it under sar request mortgage (date protection act 1998) -
In addition I have had my capital and repayment mortgage running under interest only for the last accumulative 3 years, despite having paid faultlessly the capital and interest payments for some years, then income dropped dramatically, BM are telling me that 3 accumulated years is the longest that I am entitled to. As I am attempting to carry on under interest only as I can afford it and not the capital and interest amount, which is almost four times the amount, I wondered if anyone else had heard of this 'capping' time that you can pay interest only as I do not remember it being in the mortgage terms when I took it out about 9/10 years ago. Hence my need to obtain copy documents as I cannot find the originals. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you
