  • council served notice on my land

Well not quite on the land but a lamp post about 20 yards away out lining the bit in the photo that I have removed. It is land I am working on, so far I have secured and padlocked to the gate to the field, Cleared a path from the road side to the field, put a gate on at the other end of the path, and had a wagon load of crush concerte delivered just before christmas, that I started work on that is for putting on the path so the tractor tyres do not slip. I returned from holiday and found the notice up, Dont understand it? dose anyone hear understand it. Also a link to the web site is
    https://www.tameside.gov.uk/planning...spaces,-places

PS the field is to be used for growing vegtebles and chickens

    Thanks

Pretty photograph, but what does the notice say? What is the Council proposing to do?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Do you own the land or trying to claim it?

As far as I can tell from the link you gave this relates to the local council's proposed long term strategic development plan which is currently out for consultation. It looks like they have changed the future development zoning of the area where your field is.

The main document you link runs to over 300 pages and other documents on the link are hundreds of pages long. You cannot reasonably expect people here to read all that information and advise you on what it means for you.

I suggest you arrange a meeting with your local councillor to get a better understanding of what is proposed. Often there are public meetings run by the council during consultations like this to explain it and answer questions. Check with the council.
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

Absolutely! Look at the council's website - they will be preparing a new Local Plan. Presumably someone put the land up for potential inclusion? As above your councillor will help - or should!
