  • Access to case law

I'm currently a co-owner of a property where the other owner is seeking to sell his share to me. I am not using a solicitor at the moment and am in the process of negotiating with his solicitor. I'm trying to research the complexities of my case and wondered if anyone could explain to me how or if l can obtain a past history case document? Preferably the full transcript.
The case is: Bank of Ireland v Bell [2001] 2 FLR 809
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Meg

    Hi 1772MEG0925

    Welcome to LB

It's listed under 'BAILII', but they've got another case listed under it,

Maybe contact them point out the error, ask them if they can find it.

I'm probably posting something you already know, but in case not it appears from this case summary that the original decision of the trial judge was reversed on appeal to the Court of Appeal so if you do find a full transcript check whether you have the original decision or the Court of Appeal decision. The Bailii listing says it the Court of Appeal transcript (although it is actually something else completely different).
