Following a relationship breakdown where the tenant has had to leave a flat, the partner is refusing to leave. Could anyone point me to any guidance or legislation that might help the owner remove them? Thanks in advance
Evicting occupant not on tenancy agreement

Does the sole tenant written Tenancy Agreement, which still remains 'live' A) specify the class of person entitled to occupy the property? e.g spouse, civil partner? and B) does it entitle the sole tenant to sublet the dwelling or take in a paying lodger?
If either A) and B) above is not in play, then the status of the occupier is likely to be that of a guest invited by the tenant and it is for the tenant to withdraw that invitation, and instruct the occupier to quit the dwelling.
I also add that a landlord would have no interest how a tenant raised the funds to pay the rent due under a Tenancy Agreement.
