  • Class E or F?

I am looking at opening a nursery (registered with ofsted). My building currently currently has class F1 use and so I'm not sure whether I would need to change this to class E. The council's planning officer has stated that it would be class E unless I can present some robust evidence e.g. planning decisions to demonstrate otherwise.

What would this be and how would I go about doing this?

I don't claim to be an expert, but the use you describe appears to come within Use Class F1: https://www.planninggeek.co.uk/use-class/use-class-f1/
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
