  • Right of Way

There is a right of way across some land I own, which is used mainly by my neighbours and is convenient for them.

Is it possible to apply to divert it so it crosses elsewhere on my land? -although it would be less convenient for my neighbours and they may object.

    Thank You.

    Hello

Unfortunately, you haven't given us any information to go off other than it is a right of way, so the answer to your question will be that it depends on a number of factors. The issue will be whether your diversion will cause a substantial interference with the right of way.

If you want to share more information about the right of way and your this diversion you are thinking about, maybe we can help you further.

      Rob,

Thank You.Sorry for not giving more information.

The diversion would be 50 yards further down on my land so neighbours/public would effectively have to walk 50 yards further.

Also, the ground on this area is quite is a bit of a marsh to walk on ,(you wouldn't want to walk on it with your best shoes!) - which doesn't help my case!
