Neighbours Deeds

Due to a change in a shared cesspit (I have installed my own cesspit and no longer share the cesspit located my neighbour’s land) my neighbour’s has told me to update there property deeds to reflect this change, am I legally allowed to do this?

I don't know you can change someone else's Land Registry title 'deeds'. You could phone the Land Registry customer services and ask them what needs doing and who by. They can't give legal advice but they can guide you to the right LR procedures. Contact HM Land Registry - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Does anything need changing? Just because you don't need to use the shared cesspit do you need to formally give up the right to? Or would keeping the right have implications for cost sharing and liability if something went wrong with it?
