Facing eviction- need advice

Facing eviction after a misunderstanding with housing association workers. Pushed them out my lobby door (didn't know they were workers) as they tried to enter without a key. Now been served a Section 8 (grounds 12,14). If anyone could advice on what I can do!

Have you apologised and promised never to do it again?

They haven't given me an opportunity to do so... After the incideny, I've only received the notive. I tried to call them to give my side of the story and to mediate but i was told there's nothing they can do and it will be going to court and I should seek legal advice

You may apologise etc of your own initiative. Write a charming letter and post it.

In fact do that now. If nothing else, if the landlord does not respond, you can show it to the court. That *may* help persuade the judge to exercise his discretion in your favour.

Many thanks and I will definitely give this a go... I wanted to go there but the way they were on the phone, feel like it will cause a commotion when I'm there so didn't really want that. If it were to go to court, I'd their any advice that you could give?

Yes, if and when you are served with court papers. We would need to know the detail of what those papers say.
