  • Accurate property boundary plan

I understand that I can get plan of my property from the Land Registry and also that this may not be 100% accurate. Is there any way to get accurate plans? I am looking to resolve a potential boundary dispute. Thanks

You need to get "determined boundaries"

      That will require agreement.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

If agreement not forthcoming, it goes to tribunal .... and then it might get really expensive

The best thing to do might be to appoint a Boundary Dispute Surveyor, you can do this jointly or independently, if you do it jointly, it will clearly benefit both parties, you can both have input, helps resolve the matter. You both get your evidence and the Surveyor does research etc and finds the boundary line. If it's one boundary, won't cost the earth, make sure they are Regulated by RICS.

I'm trying to appoint one, chap next door has already built a fence, boiler room etc
So hopefully he will enjoy taking them down with as much gusto as he did, putting them up.
