  • Managing agency insist i phone them

I received an email from the managing agency in charge of the property I live asking that I phone them. I replied that as I keep records of all communications between myself and companies, I only accept communications in writing. I then asked how could I help. They replied that they needed to talk to me and I had to phone them ASAP.

I dont want to talk to them over the phone because past experience with companies has shown that phone calls can be denied or altered. I want everything in black and white.

    How should I proceed?

    EDIT

I forgot to mention that they have an online facility dedicated to messages between them and tenants.

weird, i dobnt blame you asking for formal stuff in writing but its not unreasonable for you to answer there call or ring if they have asked. Just make them put it in writing

Funnily enough they phoned after I read your message, so I answered. It was just to confirm something, not even something urgent. But the point is, they could have just asked me in the email and I would have given them the same answer. Anyway, all sorted now. Thanks for your reply
