My dad lost his partner of 34 years in June 2022, nearly everything was in her name but they both paid the bills. No Will was left so her daughter has claimed the estate and is evicting him from the property. His health is not the best with COPD at 79 years old. Does he have any rights. All he wanted to do was live his days in their home surrounded by his memories of her and then his partners daughter would have the house then anyway. Any advice would be helpful please. We only have until 18th June and it’s so difficult finding suitable accommodation that he will be happy in. Thank you

The daughter's rights are limited to what the court grants to her. Depending on her position in the family she may or may not have the right to do this.
