Hi - I’m new to this forum but wonder if could seek some advice please? The family solicitor released property deeds - jointly named - to one of the persons named on the deeds in May 2013. This has only been discovered recently by the other person named on the deeds as they are no longer together. I was shocked that they would have released jointly named and also very valuable documents to just one person. The solicitors have provided a copy of a ‘document release form’ which clearly shows that the documents were jointly named deeds but the form has only been signed by one named person. The person who collected the documents has confirmed it is their signature but is now saying they do not recall collecting them. The solicitors are going to write to them but would appreciate your advice. Many thanks.
