Hi everyone,
Bit of a tricky one I think but here goes ,
My wetroom was installed by the council through a disablement facilities grant about 10 years ago but only 2 years ago it had come to light it was wrongly installed. After many many callouts of electricians and plumbers over the years with ongoing mopping up and using towels etc it came to light about 2 years ago when an engineer said the floor isn't graduating properly into the drain and the pump is underated as well as right angles on the pipes to and from the pump. So the council disability department say its well out of its warranty so the responsibility is the housing association but they don't want to do anything as its a re install job and they tell me to use it water on and off for short periods wash a limb at a time so the pump can cope and water doesn't seep out to much but my issue is that is not how it is supposed to be . I'm supposed to be able to use it properly and I need to shower often as of bowl incontinence. All my letters of complaint get nowhere as someone said to me on housing forum on Facebook the housing association are probably only obliged to provide a working instalation and never mind its not working as it should . And advice greatfully received
