  • Subject access request but for a property?

    Hi, I'm in England.

I know a subject access request is for personal information, however is there any similar legislation that would allow me to access any data held by the council about my property? I want to see if I'm allowed access to any information held by the council regarding any complaints/queries the previous home owner may have made when he owned the property?

    Thanks.

Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
