  • What Land Tax is payable on this transaction 🧐🧐

Hi Guys, I am a company buying a house with a plot of land on the side. The house I am buying for £250k and the land, as a separate transaction, I am buying for £75k.

The question is can I buy the land, as it is a separate commercial purchase and is development land, without Land Tax being incurred on that part of the transaction.

any thoughts on this will be gratefully appreciated.

    cheers

There are several ways of doing tis according to the circumstances. Those circumstances will dictate whether HMRC see it as one transaction or two.

Unlikely. Why not ask your company's solicitors for a conveyancing quote?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
