    Good evening all,

I'm having an issue with a neighbour parking a large 4x4 on the road I live on amd was wondering what my rights and optuons where.

Access to cars isn't an issue as he's over the white center lines but as he parks outside his house at the narrowest part of the road when anyone has a delivery for furniture, building materials for extentions etc. Larger delivery vehicles cannot get through as he parks in essentially a bottle neck in the road. He's even refused access to a fire engine previously.

Council have said they cant do anything about it and the police are taking some convincing as he's over the center marking and you can get a car past but causes a nightmare for any larger vehicle.

Has anyone got some advice for any other action I cold take to get home to move he vehicle or prevent him from parking there that won't cost the earth as I'm not what you'd call loaded.

    Cheers in advance!

When you say "Council", have you tried the Highways department?
