I am estranged from my son and his family. He took out an interest only mortgage with Wave Mortgages Ltd who bled him white for years and finally attempted to re-possess his house, his mother at the steps of the courthouse, paid the mortgage off. About £20000. This was about 8 years ago. Wave went bust and sold their books to Rooftop Mortgages Ltd. Rooftop Mortgages are now again attempting to repossess the house through the courts as their records apparently, do not show the mortgage as re-paid. The court case is st Southend on 24th October. Apparently again (I do not talk to my son) Rooftop know all of this and have told my son, 'dont worry, all is well' but the court case is still alive. What can be done to make sure no judgement is given against my son?
