    You already have it inwriting that when they get another tenant then that releases your daughter from the contract. there is another tenant, your daughter is released.

      That is helpful, i think she would ultimately like the acknowledgement from landlord but if he isn't going to give it then I guess all she can do is write to outline the position and invite him to contact her if he thinks she has it wrong, I think that would be the only thing left for her to do if she wants to do anything at all
