Hi guys,
I am having some building work done on my property and I came home yesterday to find my television damaged.
When I left for work in the morning the TV was fine. The builders had been in the living room to board up a patio door which is right next to the TV. They told us not to worry about moving anything out of the way, as they would handle it all. The top left corner of the TV has very clearly had a physical impact and now when I put the TV on, that corner has block 'splodges' and lines run across the TV.
I havent spoken to the builder about it yet as they had left when i got home from work and i am not expecting them to own up to it. It is a £1,700 TV.
I would just like to understand what I can do, if the builder does not own up to it.
Thanks
