  • Estate owners gone into liquidation

The builders who own the housing estate that I've bought my house has gone into liquidation. The local council and water authority has refused to take the estate as they say the estate was not built to the standards they need.

The house is a Freehold so I will dispute that with the BVD but what are my legal rights for this to happen?

The home owners will have to pay for the maintenance of the drainage system, street lighting and roads. What the best action for this scenario?

Speak with the solicitors you had when buying the house. They should be able to suggest something to you.
