Transfer of Ownership of Property

Our son would like to transfer ownership of a freehold property to me. No money will change hands. Can I do this myself? Are there any tax implications? The property is vacant.

It would help if you could explain the situation more clearly please?
Does your son own a property outright, or with mortgage and what approximate value is the property?
How long has he owned the property and was it his residence , an investment or what?
Are there any others involved?
Is there a specific reason whey he wants to make this this change?
