I have a mobile home on my property. Planning will not let me rent it out as a separate unit of accommodation. However I am not interested in renting it out but as I live on 10 acres alone there is lots of maintenance to do especially in the summer. Do you think I could let someone sleep and use the lounge in the mobile home (but they will have to use my shower room, washing facilities and possibly my kitchen ) in exchange for helping me out with chores on the farm? The mobile home will not be used as a separate unit of accommodation and I will not be receiving monetary payment. Any comments?
