I only own one property, a flat, which I don't live in (I did live in it for a few weeks but I don't anymore and don't intend to, my daughter lives in it now and I live in a house she owns). Will this flat be considered my main residence in my will? I would like to leave it to my daughter and want to make sure she doesn't have to pay inheritance tax on it. Since its the only property I own, is it considered my main residence? THANK YOU!
Is a property considered my main residence if its the only one I own??
