  • Right to buy

I bought my right to buy freehold property six years ago.
I would now like to put another person on the deeds, is this difficult to do

You go on to the land registry web site and follow their instructions. The only awkward bit is proof of identity, but the rules have been relaxed slightly to make it easier.

I've just done it myself for a LR fee of £80. Its lot of paperwork but their explanatory videos are very good.
