  • Buying with ccj

    Hi
I have what are now classed as historic ccjs
due to end in June 2023
I have been offered mortgages and want to buy a new home but worried if I buy there could be a charge put on house forcing me to sell
    is this possible
my ccjs were for a personal loan and credit card debts

Depends on the amounts involved, normally a charging order would stay on the land registery until the house was sold. They would not be able to force a sale.

£32000.00? Not a good Idea to put the house in your name
