Advice regarding property.

Question.

I moved in with my ex in 2013 into her rented house and paid her rent accumulating to approx £7,000 over 3 years and made upgrades to that property ie decorating etc etc.

We then bought a house in 2015, she paid the deposit £3,500, the house deeds and mortgage is in my name and I've paid the mortgage ever since £25k so far and made upgrades, maintenance and the upkeep of the house, new boiler etc etc all at my own expense, she paid the council tax, she committed adultery and has since left october 2019, does she have any legal right to claim half or a percentage or any claim at all.

A number of issues need to be considered before you can determine whether or not your ex may have an entitlement including whether you were married, whether the property was held as joint tenants/tenants in common, any agreements at the time of purchase, contributions made by the parties and the standard of living prior to the separation/divorce.
