  • Looking for DoE Circular 1/85: The use of conditions in planning permissions

    Hi,

As subject says I'm looking for a copy of

DoE Circular 1/85: The use of conditions in planning permissions.

I can only find the the later 11/95 updated version online. Planning inspectorate don't have one I've asked.

    Thanks

It might be a silly suggestion but have you asked Department of Environment if they can supply a copy?

I'm told DoE is now the Ministry of Communities and Local Government, and yes I have asked them. Still waiting..... for a reply.

BTW there seems to be a copy with the Manchester runway enquiry archive but I'm not near Manchester. That is the only copy I have found, and that's not online unfortunately.

It's a longshot but The Law Society may hold the Circular. Suggest you drop them an email on Library@lawsociety.org.uk and ask them if they have a copy - if they do then they offer a document supply service at about £25 for up to 20 pages or you can pay one off access to go to the library in London and get a copy yourself, if you are close enough.

They are pretty quick to reply though they aren't open weekends.
