Suing an Architect or Party Wall Surveyor following Building works?

After writing to them again asking for an Easement as the viable solution or confirmation of closure of the dispute (requesting response within 14 days) I received a reponse on day 14 saying we are seeking legal advice.

I wonder if harassment might be a way of telling them to leave it. My patience has worn thin.

They must be spending shedloads on "legal advice", all of which so far seems to be aimed at trying to frighten you into submission and not actually come to a mutual agreement.
Not unusual tactics by some of the legal profession unfortunately.
IMO you should just ignore them until they actually initiate proceedings, and rely on the party wall agreement as a defence if necessary

So the neighbour did actually respond recently with the FACT we are trespasssing yet, tabling the exact same spiel as before to address things;

-a revocable easement (which acts as a license) revocable upon notice of their develolment
-an undertaking to their solicitors fees so they wouldnt seek compensation.

They also mentioned again the nonsense that we continued to build whilst they queried the build, the never mentioned the PWA or Planning, or that we have built to the Plan/design.

Almost not worthy of my response.

So either ignore or refer them to your previous answer (as per prime ministers question time: I refer the right honourable gentleman to the answer I gave a moment ago!)
