My husband and I are planning to start a property investment UK with the help of this firm, which was recommended to us by a good friend. We’re new to this kind of thing, so maybe there are people here who can give us some helpful tips? Or anything we need to keep in mind? Your replies will be much appreciated. TIA.

It's not clear by your reference to "firm" are you talking about a law firm or some other type?
If you want advice on investment you need to speak to a professional who is qualified in giving that advice. Law firms are not regulated to give investment advice (though there are some exceptions that don't apply here I think).
Other than that I don't know what sort of tips you were looking for - you will need to be more specific.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
