Split with non married partner, how is equity get split if one has put in more?

Can anyone help? I've recently split with partner, not married. The current house is in joint names and we have been there just over 2 years. I put £95k into the house from a previous property at the start. How do I stand? Is my partner entitled to half the equity, or half less my original payment? Thank You in advance if anyone can help.

If you hold the property as Joint tenants and no arrangement was made in relation to you putting more money in then it will just be a 50/50 split.

So is there no way to fight it, I basically lose half of the money I invested after two years in a relationship we wasn't even married in?? That hardly seems fair to me...
