My mother bought a leasehold bungalow a little under 3 yrs ago, she has recently passed away and we are going through her papers but cannot find a signed copy of the lease agreement, should there be a signed copy?

All the documents will be at the Land Registry. You don't need anything else.

by the way, unless this was a brand new le@se, your mother won't have signed it.

Ahh, thank you, no it's an old lease originally from 1992 but all we could find is a 2000 copy attached to the deeds. Well at least we can stop looking now then lol.

We just wanted to try and check the validity of the lease as some of it seems pretty one sided with fees for this, bills for that etc.
