Parking on right of way

Hello, I am new to this, so hope my post makes sense! I would like to know if it is ever okay to park on a private right of way? I am the landowner and am seriously inconvenienced by a neighbour parking on the alley who cannot even gain vehicular access to their property( but they do have a right of way both on foot and vehicular). They park there several times a week for hours on end. They think they are entitled to do this but I dont! Who is right?

I would really like some help and advice about a problem that I have with a neighbour parking on a right of way. I own the passageway which links 6 houses to the main road. This particular house does have vehicular access but only a pedestrian gate into their house as they have their own drive to the front of their property. They regularly park next to this access gate on the right of way which makes it a little tight for anyone going past (but not impossible). I however have difficulty with the swing of my caravan out of the gates and I have politely asked that they do not park here as it causes me an obstruction. They insist that they have a right to park here. Not sure what steps to take next.

Was the right of way granted by a deed, will,contract or prescription?
The wording will tell you what the owners of the dominant land can do.
Generally the right is to pass and repass freely over a piece of land, but not to linger on it.

Replied on other posting, but in addition you need to ascertain exactly what that right is.
Having done that try and convince your parker that he is wrong.
If that fails you can apply to the courts for an injunction.

If it is going to reach that final stage you need to keep a record of when the blockages occur and length of time, together with dated photographs
