Hi all,
So about 4 years ago a charge order was placed on my property by Restons solicitors (cabot financial), the property is jointly owned by me and my ex partner, i moved out about 3 years ago and my ex moved in taking over the mortgage with a view to buy me out eventually, she has not been in a position to do this and as of December last year the house has been sold, contracts have now been exchanged.
Once a completion date has been set who pays the charge order to get our names released from the title deeds at the land registry, is it me only as the charge order was origanlly in my name only or does it get split between us both from the equity in the house.
Confused doesnt even come close.
