Gas safety certificate

I have done both and have made a.complaint to hse because the certificate has no gas reg number written on it and some details are missing they said it is void and the fact that it says hob was safe and a gas safe engineer condemned it when they came out it means that there is only 1 certificate in 6 years and if the one done in 2012 is wrong then there would not have been any gas safety checks done at all
