  • County court processes

    Hello,

Does anyone know if it's possible to request that a county court claim be transferred to another county court within the region especially if the county court dealing with the matter isn't the nearest one to where you live. Do you have to have medical grounds to ask for the case to be transferred? The current county court dealing with the case that I issued (i.e I'm the Claimant) is notoriously bad and has made a number of dubious even 'poor' decisions -both judges and court staff. These decisions are both wasting a lot of time and putting me at risk of losing my case.

If there is undue process, can you make an appeal to a higher judge at regional level to look at the case or ask for some enquiry as to why the case may not be being dealt with fairly or practically? Or instead can I request that the claim is transferred to another local county court?

    Thnx.

I actually don't know the court process anymore than you do as I am currently struggling, but what I can tell you is that I am the claimant in my case and the defendant lives in another county some 150 miles away and I am getting my case heard in my local court because of extensive medical issues.

I wish I was not so ill to be honest as my local court is a joke and the mistakes they have made in relation to my own case would make your eyes bleed if you read them.
