Hi, I'm interested in finding out about a crown court case from the early nineties - is that sort of thing possible online? What sort of details would be available?

    Re: Crown court archives

Try http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk. I would actually ask the question rather than wading through the site. I spend a lot of time at the archives office and do remember a few people asking for or wading through old crown court records in the reading rooms. (not just old records!) The staff are very helpful and if they do not have the specific records there they will probably point you in the right direction.

An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!

Do you have the case name and some facts about it?

Hi Rob, I have the name of the defendant and what the case was about (I wouldn't post them on open forum though)

I see fair enough, I could offer to help if you wish to PM details?
