    do they have any rights over money that was left too them from great grand parents the trustee is their dads mum ?

    Yes, normally when they turn 18
    i take it you have some sort or Will with the grand parents wishes?

      Yes exmother in law is thrustee. So I'm guessing it's what she says goes x

      Sorry if it sounds harsh but I've worked so hard to bring them up on my own as he was always a drinker I just wish I could give more to them x

                You would only have a claim if you were financially dependent on him.

                  Agreed this isn't ancient Egypt, but the thread is headed "My children's dad die this year" so is it not reasonable to assume OP refers to their father?
