You received my PM? I'm using a smart phone, that may look a little different that the screen shot you posted. But I am very impressed with your knowledge and ability to navigate and utilize the Legalbeagle system.

But you use a Smart Phone, I don't even have a mobile (cell) phone.

For the benefit of other members the PM contained personal information and set out the circumstances already outlined in this thread.
I have cautioned about appointing a solicitor who may not be a specialist in contentious probate, and the need to control costs.

I will concur, I was asking Des8 her opinion on the email in which I had outlined my issues, this email I am sending to a solicitor and wanted to know her thoughts on how I was articulating the issues. She has been quite helpful publicly via the group forum however this email had the names of a number of law practices that I didn't feel would be wise to make public and I'm sure would be against Legalbeagal policy.

I just realized that I skipped over the fact that you have family on board. Wishing you all great happiness and again Des8 your remarkable patience and gracefulness in your communications with me.

I also managed to dig out from my email correspondence the email request that I had made to my solicitors for my case file, the request which they chose to ignore. I later had another solicitor request the file from my contracted solicitors and they supplied the file, in digital format however it certainly looks crafted to demonize me.

Not to loose track :-) But is the a law pertaining to a client requesting their file and the solicitor denying access? Wouldn't this be considered obstruction?
I'm just trying to build a case out of the numerous acts of disappointing service I received and as to what created the distrust and hostile relationship.

Whether or not obstructive, it is most definitely a contravention of section 2 of Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007
This from the SRA guide (http://www.sra.org.uk/documents/code...-relations.pdf) : "When you cease acting for a client, you will need to consider what should be done with the paperwork. You must hand over the client's files promptly on request subject to your right to exercise a lien in respect of outstanding costs."
