Isold my bike a year ago and have just received a letter from dvla stating I have not informed them of my bikes change of owner. They are saying I owe them £55 or I will have to go to court. I called them up a month ago asking what I needed to do. A woman on the phone said that they were aware of the vehicles new keeper as they had applied for a new V5c. I had not written to them saying that i had changed keeper but was told it was sorted. What can I do? I do not want to pay the fine.
