  • CCJ says one thing Bryan Carter are telling me diffrent? help please??

Hi all I am seeking some more advice please.
Recently i had a CCJ entered against me for a debt from lowell finance and Bryan carter solicitors.
on the judgment for claimant letter from Northampton county court it says "i must pay the claimant £1,990.25 by installments of £50 per month starting 4th may 2014"

anyway today i recieve a letter from Bryan Carter Solicitors saying......

"a count court judgment was entered against you on the 4th April in respect of this debt. you have 30 days from the date of judgment to pay the debt in full after which it will remain on the county court register of judgments for a period of six years" "in order to avoid this and to stop further action please contact us to make payment"

so what i don't understand is...surley if the court says i can pay in installments i can and Bryan Carter are trying their luck??? i don't know but i have had no end of issues trying to deal with them.
any advice most welcome and thank you

No need to worry, what it means is that you can still pay £50/month, however, if you were able to pay the CCJ in full within 30 days, the CCJ would be removed from the public record, i.e. you wouldn't have a CCJ at all! :thumb:

    CCJ removal

There are some options to remove a CCJ from the Register or have the information on it corrected. These include:
    • Paying the CCJ in full within a month If you do this, details of the county court judgment are removed altogether from the register.
