I am sorry for the delayed response Tools as I have been unwell lately. The posts or rather the matters are linked. I'm sorry that I was unable to link the posts due to not quite knowing my way around the web site. I apologise for any inconveniences caused.

        Hi Tigs

I'm so sorry to hear of the nonsense you are being put through and that you have been ill. Get well soon.

Just wanted to add to the sound counsel you have had so far that I also believe your best recourse now is through eviction (ie through the courts) but will read through the thread more thoroughly over the weekend.

It's such a shame that people take cynical advantage of the kindness of others. I do think you stand a good chance of getting a CCJ - but, as has been said, enforcing it is another matter.

My experience does rather differ from that of PlanB in that I believe it to be a reasonable and not unusual condition of a tenancy that the landlord may be granted access, upon reasonable notice, to conduct necessary maintenance and repairs to the property also to be kept informed of any disrepair or dilapidation.

Hoping that 2014 will bring you good luck.
