    Hi,
    d i was now suffering acute kidey injury, what i had also noticed that since my readmission people were having more checks prior to being able to leave i had 7 xrays and 4 echos and others that had none first time i was there now everyone was getting them, so procedure has changed, is this medical negligence or just an unfortunate accident? please advise

    So, the first time around, you had x number of checks before being discharged, but now patients are being given x+y number of checks before being discharged.

    I'm guessing that you suggesting that your readmission is related to the lesser number of checks, and that had you had those additional checks, you would not have been readmitted.

    If true, you might have a case. It would however be very, very difficult to prove.

      We have a friend pursuing a medical negligence claim with a no win no fee solicitor who are for 3 grand up front for expert medical opinion not a cheap option?

        If medical opinion has changed since time of your own illness or injury, healthcare professionlas are not negligencet if they followed the opinon and practices current at that time, even if it has since been improved in the light of further knowledge.
