costs judgment - CCJ?

Friend lost case and costs were awarded against her.

A full CCJ, unsatisfied judgment has been placed against her name which has knackered her credit facilities for the next X amount of years.

should a full CCJ be listed if it was just an award for costs? it seems very unfair.

We could do with a bigger picture here.
Why was the CCJ simply for costs ??

If the other party filed a claim for costs then on what biases was this made and why was it not defended ??

I have just been to County Court and had paid the Claimant prior to Hearing, but Judge still awarded Costs to Claimant.

The Costs awarded were excessive; can i appeal or?
