Solicitor disappeared

Hi guys

Quick question, A friend has made a will sometime ago, recently she noticed that the solicitors in question had closed down, The Law Society has stated that this solicitor is no longer practicing.

So where has her will gone? (She has her own copy).

Will this affect anything regarding the will?

Well I would try these people first and explain the situation, they may know exactly where the will has gone to from the original solicitors

This kind of thing must happen quite a lot I would imagine and even if they don't have the original will, they may be able to put you in contact with someone who will know.
