  • statment of truth on schedule of loss

Hi, I’m a litigant in person and I’m a bit confused about the rules on Schedules of Loss.

PD22 seems to say a Statement of Truth is needed for Schedules of Loss in personal injury claims, but I can’t see anything that clearly says the same for non-PI cases. I’ve also looked at PD16, but I’m not sure whether a Schedule of Loss is treated as a continuation of the statement of case.

In a non-personal injury claim, is a Statement of Truth actually required, or is it just good practice?

    Thankyou

According to CPR Practice Direction 22, it's not required unless it's a Personal Injury Claim.
So it's a 'continuation' of Statement of Case.
